Rotary Encoder
For over 30 years, DMM has been self-developing rotary encoders for motion control. Our encoders are designed to be high resolution and robust so it can withstand any application reliably for many years.
We primarily focus on magnetic sensors, utilizing simple and cost effective components to build the sensor. Then using advanced and high speed calculation algorithms to calculate the final position. Using this technology, we can achieve basic 16-bits of resolution (65,536ppr) or advanced 20-bits of resolution (1,048,576ppr).
All our encoders also feature built-in calibration procedures to self-calibrate the index position relative to the motor commutation. During operation, the encoder also self-calibrates in real time to account for temperature, vibration and mounting fluctuations to optimize the accuracy.
