DMM's advanced servo motion control products play a vital role in the robotics industry by providing high-precision and high-efficiency motor control solutions. Our AC servo motors and servo drives enable smooth, accurate, and responsive motion, which is essential for articulated and automated guided vehicles (AGV/AMR).

Our long heritage of research and development into DC powered drives attributes our DYN2, DYN1 and AGV solutions with the highest reliability and low maintenance.

With superior torque control, fast response times, and low latency, our products enhance the performance and reliability of robots used in manufacturing, logistics, and other industry leading applications.  These features allow robotic systems to execute complex tasks with precision, improving efficiency and reducing operational costs.

Application Example

The DYN4 servo drives and motors are used in delta robots for pick and place application.  Using the multi-turn absolute encoder system, the robot can perform tasks without homing or calibrating position during operation cycles, allowed even faster productivity.  Cycle times as low as 1 second is achieved.

The DYN2X servo drive is used across higher power AGV and AMR applications.  With peak 20kW of output capacity, the DYN2X servo drive can drive load masses up to 1 tonne with precision.  The DYN2X is used for pallet handling, automatic crop harvesting vehicles and automatic luggage transportation vehicles.

The small form factor of the DYN2 servo drive allows easy integration into small AGV's.  The DYN2 is used across small to medium sized AGV's for food transport, inter-facility parts transport and research applications.  The power efficiency, reliability and low cost of the DYN2 servo drive is considered one of the best solutions for AGV's in the industry.

The DVP integrated wheel solution is developed to be the most easy to use AGV/AMR drive system in the world.  By integrating the wheel, gearbox, motor and drive into one package, the user only needs to connect power and control to the unit and it's ready to run.  The DVP product is popular among startup companies focusing on human collaborative material moving AMR's.
